Review by hotel critic
I recently spent a good weekend at Hotel Am Sommerbad, a charming oasis nestled just outside Halberstadt. The moment I arrived, I was welcomed with a refreshing drink, which set the tone for a relaxing stay. My room was quite spacious, boasting a comfortable seating area and an electric kettle for that much-needed afternoon tea, a little ritual I always enjoy. The hotel's garden views were stunning, and I loved the sun terrace where I could unwind with a good book and even catch a few rays. The breakfast was a highlight, with a good buffet offering everything from hearty German fare to lighter vegetarian options, perfect for fueling up before a day of cycling through the picturesque surroundings. With free WiFi throughout, I could easily share my experiences with followers, and having private parking was a cherry on top for a hassle-free getaway. If you're looking for a serene escape with delicious dining options and comfortable amenities, Hotel Am Sommerbad should be on your radar!
